Workspace Collections

Create focused dashboard views inside a workspace, then give every view its own widgets, layout, launch behavior, and access shortcuts.

#1

What is a Workspace Collection?

A Workspace Collection is a dashboard view inside the active workspace. Each collection keeps its own widget instances and grid layout, so switching collections changes the Home Screen without moving or deleting the underlying workspace objects.

Every workspace keeps at least one collection view, and one view is marked as its default.
#2

How to create a Workspace Collection

Use the Workspace Collection area in the Home Screen sidebar. The creation flow saves the view in the active workspace and switches to it immediately.

1Open Workspace Collection

Expand the Workspace Collection section in the extension sidebar to see the saved views for the active workspace.

2Choose New collection

Hover or focus within the section and select New collection to open the Create View panel.

3Name and identify it

Enter a unique name of up to 40 characters and choose an icon that makes the view easy to recognize.

4Add optional access

Assign a text command and/or hotkey. Conflicts must be resolved before the view can be saved.

5Save the view

The new collection becomes active and starts with an Untitled Note widget and a large Session widget.

#3

Organize your work

The collection list supports ordering and group headings, while each collection maintains a separate spatial dashboard.

Reorder collections

Drag collection views vertically to place frequently used views first.

Use group headings

Arrange views below custom headings such as Work, Personal, or College and reorder the headings along with their views.

Control visibility

Sidebar visibility preferences can hide unused views or headings without deleting the saved collection.

Design each dashboard

Switch into a collection, enter widget edit mode, and arrange only the widgets required for that workflow.
